Nasaka finally frees four Bangladeshis

Nasaka, border guard of Myanmar, released four Bangladeshi nationals including three police constables yesterday afternoon, 18 days after their detention.
A team of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) led by Captain Kamrul received them from Teknaf Immigration Check Post, said Lt Col Md Zahid Hossain, commander of 42 battalion of the BGB.
Nasaka released the Bangladeshis on Mangdu frontier in Myanmar who appeared in Bangladesh through Kayuk Khali of Teknaf Sadar in Cox's Bazar, he added.
They released Bangladeshi police personnel are Imran Hossain, 25, Irfan Sarkar, 25, and Mujibur Rahman, 26, posted at a Rohingya camp in Teknaf upazila.
The other national is Saiful Islam, a local resident of about 27 years of age.
Police Super of Cox's Bazar Md Azad Mia was present at that time.
Earlier, Bangladesh government worked diplomatically to bring back the Bangladeshis.
Nasaka picked up the Bangladeshis from Ghumdhum border at Naikkhangchhari upazila in Bandarban at around 5:30pm on March 13 as they entered Myanmar territory mistakenly while taking photographs.
