Memorial lecture on Tagore

Bangalee Samagra Museum hosted the Third Rabindranath Tagore Memorial Lecture on June 14 at Poet Sufia Kamal auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum, according to a press release. Professor Emeritus Dr. Anisuzzaman delivered the lecture this year. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu graced the occasion as the guest of honour. Economist Professor Anisur Rahman presided over the function. Litterateur Selina Hossain delivered the welcome address. Elocutionist Keya Chowdhury recited from Tagore poem “Abhishar”. Niru Shamsunnahar emceed the programme that was attended by Professor Mahmud Shah Qurieshi, Professor Abdul Qayyum, Professor Razia Sultana, Professor Abul Qasem Fazlul Huq and Professor Bishwajit Ghosh.
