Madhu's sculpture on DU campus to be unveiled March 27

A memorial sculpture of Liberation War martyr Modhusudan Dey, more popularly known as Modhuda, will be unveiled at a function at the Dhaka University campus on March 27, marking his 29th death anniversary.

The decision to hold the function was taken yesterday at a meeting of 'Modhuda's 29th Death Anniversary Observing Committee.' It also decided to hold a memorial meeting on the same day.

Leaders of different student organisations were present at the meeting including Bahadur Bepari of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Manir Hossain of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), Obaidur Rahman Chunnu of JSD-backed BCL, Dipanker Saha Dipu of Bangladesh Chhatra Moitry (BCM) and Jonaied Saki of Bangladesh Chhatra Federation (BCF).
