Lions post 353
Centuries from Luke Wright (143 off 68) and Gary Balance (115 off 89) helped the England Lions post a mammoth 353 for 4 in the first one day game against Bangladesh A, played at the County Ground at Bristol yesterday.
The Lions made a slow start after being put into bat and were poised at 112 for 3 at the end of 29 overs. However, Wright's whirlwind innings which included 10 sixes and 11 fours changed the scenario of the game. Al Amin Hossain (2 for 69) was the highest wicket taker for the visitors.
At the time this report was filed Bangladesh A were struggling at 75 for 2 at the end of 24 overs. Opener Anamul Haque was dismissed for a duck where as Marshall Ayub who had hit five boundaries for 28 lost his wicket in the 14th over.
