Legal Career Fair at Law Department of Dhaka University

Bangladesh Law Association (BLA) organised a day long career orientation programme 'Legal Career Fair' for the new graduates of 36th Batch of Law Department of Dhaka University on June 8, 2013. The programme focused on providing a crystal idea, guideline, hopes, aspiration and prospect of shaping a career in legal arena as the fresh graduate often faces dilemma after graduation in choosing profession either in legal or other sectors.

Professor Dr Shahnaz Huda, Chairman, Department of Law inaugurated the programme while AKM Afzal Ul-Munir, MD, Fu-Wang Group Ltd and also the President of BLA presided over the programme. Sessions were based on the aspect and prospect of legal profession in Judiciary, Legal practice both in court and corporate level, corporate business and also the guideline of enrollment procedure for entering into legal practice. Meanwhile, this programme was also an occasion to get together and build a bridge of relation among past and present fellows of the Law Department. The programme ended with the charming performance by the Band “Joler Gaan.”
