Lawyer says Farroque has no legal bar to get released
The High Court on Tuesday granted bail for six months to Opposition Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Farroque in a case filed for blasting cocktails near BNP’s central office in the capital's Naya Paltan on March 11.
Farroque’s lawyer Mahbub Uddin Khokon told The Daily Star that there is no legal bar to his client’s release from jail custody following the order.
The HC passed the order of bail in the case lodged with Paltan Police Station on March 12.
Earlier on April 17, the BNP leader got bail from the HC in another case filed on charge of attacking police.
