Kishoreganj comes under digital phone network Sunday

All analogue telephones of Kishoreganj district will be converted into digital telephones on Sunday with the installation of digital telephone exchange, reports UNB.

The 1200-line digital exchange goes into operation at zero hour Sunday, said a press release yesterday.

After the conversion, all three-digit telephone numbers of the district will be turned into five-digit number by beginning with '55' before the old number. For example, the old number '300 will now be 55300'.
