JCD protests remarks on late Salam Talukder

Leaders of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of BNP, yesterday condemned and protested the recent remark of Nurul Islam, State Minister for Religious Affairs on late Barrister Abdus Salam Talukder, the former minister and secretary general of BNP.

In a joint statement, Monjur Elahi and Munshi Bazlul Basit Anju, acting president and general secretary respectively of JCD vowed to resist Awami League move to dishonour Salam Talukder by making adverse remarks.

In separate statements, Mohammad Sirajul Haq, convenor of Jamalpur district unit of BNP, Motahar Hossain Talukder, Sultan Salauddin Tuku, Selim Reza, the executive members of Dhaka divisional unit of JCD also condemned and protested the said remark.
