JCD leaders place wreaths at Zia's mazar

The new central and Dhaka University (DU) bodies of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) yesterday placed wreaths at the Mazar of late president Ziaur Rahman, the founder of the organisation.

The JCD leaders and activists led by BNP Secretary General and LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan took oath on the Mazar premises of Ziaur Rahman.

State Minister for Health and former JCD President Aman Ullah Aman administrated the oath taking ceremony while former JCD President Nasir Uddin Ahmed Pintu, MP attended it.

Shahab Uddin Laltu and Azizul Bari Helal were made president and general secretary of the central committee of the JCD while Amirul Islam Alim and Hasan Mahmun became president and general secretary of the DU unit.
