Jamaat-Shibir men sued for mayhem in Ctg

A case was filed against seven identified and around 60 unidentified activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and pro-Jamaat student organisation Islami Chhatra Shibir with Chandgaon Police Station on Sunday night for torching and vandalising vehicles at Bahaddarhat intersection in Chittagong city that day.
Jamaat-Shibir activists carried out the violence when police tried to stop their brisk procession, demanding release of their arrested top leaders, including convicted war criminal Delawar Hossain Sayedee.
