Indigenous housewife murdered

An indigenous woman was killed allegedly by her husband at Khitka village of Nachole upazila yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as, Sabina Saren, 32, wife of Golap Hasda, 39, of the village under Nejampur union.
Sayied Iqbal, officer-in-charge (OC) of Nachole police station said, Golap and his wife Sabina locked in a quarrel over family matter at around 7:00am at their house.
At on stage, Golap hit her wife with spade and injured her seriously. Sabina succumbed to her injuries on the way to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital.
Police later arrested husband Golap Hasda and Sabina's brother Amin Saren filed a murder case with Nachole police station.
