Indictment hearing deferred till Aug 14

A Dhaka court yesterday deferred until August 14 for hearing on charge framing against 41 opposition leaders, including BNP leader Moudud Ahmed, in an arson case.
The case was filed against them for torching vehicles and assaulting police before BNP's Nayapaltan office in the capital on March 6.
The court set the date after lawyers of eight accused submitted separate petitions seeking adjournment of the hearing.
