ICCB team in Qatar to attend global congress of chambers

An 18-member delegation of the International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh, led by its president Mahbubur Rahman, is now in Doha, Qatar to take part in the eight congress of the World Chambers' Federation.
The four-day event brings together chambers of commerce and their leaders from around the world to share, learn and build new networks of business opportunity, ICCB said in a statement yesterday.
Programmes featuring plenary and working sessions to find networking opportunities, build a stronger global chamber community, foster economic development and prosperity will take place in the congress.
Md Sabur Khan, president of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry; MA Awal, managing director of Prime Textile Spinning Mills; and Ataur Rahman, ICCB secretary general, are included in the delegation.
