Hefajat warns against resisting long march
Hefajat-e Islam has reiterated its threat of tougher agitation if it faces any obstruction from the government to holding Saturday's long march.
The threat was issued from a rally at the capital's Paltan on Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier on April 1, the leaders of the Hathazari, Chittagong-based radical Islamist group, threatened to enforce nonstop hartal from April 7 should the government resist their Dhaka long march on April 6.
They have been demanding highest punishment to the “atheist” organisers of Gonojagoron Mancha for “defaming” Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh).
