Hearing adjourned till Jan 25
The Fifth Assistant Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court yesterday adjourned the hearing of case filed against ULFA leader Anup Chetia and two of his associates as the prosecution witness did not appear.
The three are facing trial for possessing huge foreign currencies of 16 different countries.
The next date of hearing was fixed on January 25.
The ULFA leader and his two associates - Babul Sharma and Laxmi Prashad Goswami - were arrested on December 21, 1997 from a residence at Adabar under Mohammadpur police station. Police also recovered foreign currencies and a satellite telephone set.
