Healthy iftar recipes by VLCC
VLCC organised an iftar party at its Dhanmondi branch on 25 July, 2013. The party was organised with the intention of promoting healthy iftar habits among VLCC's clients and stakeholders. The organisation has completed its third year of operation in Bangladesh and is known as the number one wellness brand in Asia and the Middle East. VLCC aims to spread health consciousness in the month of Ramadan through healthy eating habits during iftar. Substituting oily, deep-fried iftar food with healthy and nutritious food items such as lal chira, yoghurt, dates, and fruit salad not only fills the stomach after a long day of fasting but at the same time restores the body's need for nutrients which traditional iftar items fail to fulfill completely. VLCC recommends having a balanced amount of a variety of healthy food and has come up with a number of easy to make recipes for a nutritious iftar.
