Gas supply suspension order protested

Employees of state-run Natural Gas Fertiliser Factory Ltd at Fenchuganj staged a sit-in before its main entrance yesterday protesting the proposed suspension of gas supply for about four months to the factory.
Sources said Jalalabad Gas Transmission & Distribution Company Ltd sent a letter to the factory stating that gas supply would remain suspended till July 31 for raising gas supply to power plants.
But the NGFFL sought one week time for technical arrangements.
