Gang attacks house of N'ganj AL secy

An armed gang on Sunday night attacked the residence of Khokon Saha, secretary of Narayanganj town Awami League.

The gang opened fire on the house and tried to break open the main gate. Khokon Saha however escaped the attack.

Saha said that a group of listed criminals from Missionpara and Dawnchamber areas went to his Goalpara residence at about 10:30pm and ordered him to come out of the house. The miscreants also fired three rounds of bullets and issued death threats.

The officer-in-charge of Narayanganj thana said a police team went to the spot but the attackers had already fled the scene.

Saha said he would lodge a case.
