Father, son killed in Khulna

The bodies of a man and his son were found with their throats slit in their home in Nayabati area of Khulna Thursday evening.
The victims were Tayebur Rahman, 75, a retired deputy director of Power Development Board, and his son Nazmun Monir, 13.
Tayebur's wife Josna Begum said two men came to their house to listen to Bangla translations of the Holy Quran from her husband on Thursday.
She said she left Monir and her husband at home to go shopping for iftar items.
“When I came back I found my husband's dead body in the bedroom and my son's in the balcony,” she said.
The bodies were sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital for autopsies.
Police seized a blood-stained knife from the spot. A case was filed.
