Easy win for Punjab
Kings XI Punjab were never tested as they strolled to a 5-wicket win over Delhi Daredevils, as they chased down the meagre target of 121 in their Pepsi Indian Premier League match here on Tuesday.
For Punjab, opener Mandeep Singh and later David Miller, played roles as they reached 121 in the 17th over. Mandeep scores 24 off 15 balls with 5 fours and after losing skipper Adam Gilchrist cheaply again, added 44 runs with Luke Pomersbach (18 off 10).
After Mandeep was run out by a David Warner throw, Miller scored a steady 34 off 39 balls to see his side home despite losing Manan Vohra for 8 and David Hussey (20 off 21 balls).
Earlier, Delhi Daredevils failed to make an impact as a batting unit as they scored a mere 120 for seven.
