Don't arrest or harass Salauddin, Alal: HC

The High Court on Tuesday directed the government not to harass or arrest BNP leaders Salauddin Ahmed and Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal without any legal process on their release from the jail.

The HC passed the order after holding hearing on two separate petitions filed by Salauddin and Alal.

In the petitions, the BNP leaders said that they has secured bail from the High Court and lower courts concerned in all the cases filed against them.

But the leaders are now apprehending that they can be rearrested soon after getting released from the jail.

Salauddin Ahmed has been granted bail in four cases while Alal in seven cases.
