Faculty of Law, Dhaka International University (DIU), arranged a court visit for its students on September 24, 2013. A group of 15 students, led by Raisul Islam Sourav, senior lecturer, Department of Law, visited court and observed closely the court proceedings at Dhaka District and Sessions Judge Court, Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court and Chief Judicial Metropolitan Judge Court. They met Senior Assistant Judge Abdullah-Al-Masum, who briefed them about filing of civil suits, hearing procedures and how to write a civil judgment. Students also got the opportunity of checking various types of case related documents. Court visit is a routine programme of the university.
