Death anniversary

The 19th death anniversary of Abdus Sabur Shaodagor, a freedom fighter and former president of Bogra District Transport Workers' Union, was observed yesterday.
On the occasion, a discussion was held at the union office and a milad mahfil in his residence at Sutrapur in the town after Zohr prayers.
Sabur, deputy commander of the district Muktijoddha Sangsad, was platoon commander under sector no-7 during the Liberation War.
On this day in 1994, he died from a cardiac arrest.
