Death anniversary

Today is the first death anniversary of Prof MA Matin, former deputy prime minister.
On the occasion, a special prayer will be offered after Asr prayers at his Shantinagar residence in the capital.
Another prayer will also be offered at his Rahmatganj graveyard in Sirajganj tomorrow.
Matin, former chairman of Bangladesh Jatiya Party, was also the founder of Sirajganj Shishu Hospital, and North Bengal Medical College, Sirajganj.
