Ctg Abahani crowned champions

Chittagong Abahani were crowned champions of the Premier Bank Bangladesh Championship League, with a game in hand, after second-placed Uttar Baridhara could only manage a 2-2 draw in their last match against Victoria Sporting at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday. The result meant, Chittagong Abahani were champions as they have 27 points from 13 matches while Uttar Baridhara finished second with 25 points from 14 matches.
Uttar Baridhara's prolific striker Mohammad Jibon scored his 13th goal of the campaign to open the scoring goal while Dalim netted the other goal. Abu Hanif scored both the goals for Victoria.
