Schoolgirl kills self

A schoolgirl committed suicide by hanging herself in Rajapur upazila of the district on Monday.

The deceased, Rimi Aktar, 15, daughter of Miron Talukder of Angaria village, was a Class X student at Chunkutia High School in Dhaka's Keraniganj upazila and used to live with her family there, said Shamsul Arefin Rajapur Police Station OC.

Rimi's family came to her grandfather's house at Angaria village a few days ago to celebrate Eid.
