College student sent to jail

A Narayanganj court yesterday sent college student Al Fesani alias Priyo to jail after rejecting the remand prayer of police in a theft case.
The court passed the order after Fatullah police produced him before it.
Md Wajed, uncle of Priyo, said recently a theft incident took place in his niece Nipa's house.
Nipa filed a case with Fatullah Model Police Station accusing unnamed persons.
Police arrested Priyo, a second year student of Government Tolaram College in the city, in this connection on Friday.
