Chief Justice meets members of the Bar

Chief Justice Latifur Rahman yesterday said that the judges of the Supreme Court were not only accountable to their conscience but also to the Constitution and people as a whole in terms of the responsibility and duty vested upon them, reports BSS.

"We know judges and lawyers are complementary to each other in pursuance of the judicial activities," he said while addressing a reception accorded to him by the Attorney General of Bangladesh and the president of Supreme Court Bar Association on behalf of lawyers.
