Chairman of NCC Bank reelected

Md Nurun Newaz Salim

Md Nurun Newaz Salim has recently been reelected as the chairman of NCC Bank for the third term, the bank said in a statement yesterday.
The bank also elected ASM Mainuddin Monem as its vice chairman.
Salim is a sponsor director of the bank and has also served the bank as vice chairman and chairman of its executive committee in different terms.
He is a former chairman of the Central Insurance Co Ltd, senior vice president of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Salim also serves Electro Mart Ltd and Trade International Marketing Ltd as chairman, according to the statement.
Monem is the deputy managing director of Abdul Monem Ltd, chief executive officer of Novus Pharmaceuticals Ltd and AM Securities and Financial Services Ltd.
He is the chairman of AML Power Ltd. He also serves the board of trustees of Independent University of Bangladesh.
Monem obtained a BBA degree from Boston University and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School, USA with majors in finance, information systems and business Strategy.
