Businessman accidentlly shoots himself

A businessman accidentally sustained bullet injury while fiddling with his pistol at a high-rise in the capital's Paltan area yesterday afternoon.
Akhter Hossain, 45, with a bullet wound on his leg was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He resides in Maniknagar.
Paltan police said Akhter had the licence to carry the pistol and filed a general diary in this regard.
An acquaintance of Akhter said he went to the office inside the building, Paltan Tower, to meet a leader of Chhatra League.
