Burnt student loses fight for life

One more life came to a halt as a Dhaka College student, who sustained burn injuries at Shahbagh bus arson attack on Thursday, died at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital early today.

Wahidur Rahman Babu breathed his last around 4:00am, said sources at the hospital.

Rahman sustained severe burn injuries when miscreants set fire to a bus he was riding on November 28.

So far, three victims of Shahbagh arson attack were killed.

With Rahman, 11 of the people who had come under arson attacks during hartals and blockades since October 26 have succumbed to their injuries. Thirty-one others were taking treatment, the sources added.
