British film show begins in Khulna

A three-day British film show, organised by British Council, began in Khulna yesterday, reports UNB.

The British Council will also organise three two-day children's film shows in the port city of Chittagong and Dhaka later this month and in February.

In Khulna, five British movies - "A Fish Called Wanda", "A Letter to Brezney", "Death on the Nile", "The Innocent" and "Dance with a Stranger" - will be screened at Zia Hall.

Three children's films will be screened at Zia Memorial Hall in Chittagong from January 22-23 and at the British Council Auditorium in Dhaka from January 30-31 and from February 8-9.

The three movies are "The Secret Garden", "Great Expectations" and "Danny the Champion of the World", said a British Council press release yesterday.
