Half fare for students in Ctg public buses from Dec 11

Half fare for students in public buses will be effective from December 11 in Chattogram city.

The transport leaders announced it in a press conference at Chattogram Press Club today.

Khondkar Enayet Ullah, secretary general of Bangladesh Road Transport Owners Association announced it in a press conference of the organisation with Kafil Uddin, president of the association's Chattogram unit in the chair, reports our staff correspondent.

The half fare in public buses will be effective for students only in metropolitan area in Chattogram from 7am to 8pm every day except for public holidays.

The students will have to carry identity cards of their educational institutions and be in uniform, he said.

He expected that the students would go back to their institutions from the road demonstration after this announcement.
