Feasibility study on for Dhaka subway: Quader

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today told the parliament that a feasibility study is underway to construct a subway – to ease traffic congestion in Dhaka city.

"Ninety-five percent of the (feasibility study) work has been completed as of February. Once this is completed, work on the subway construction project will begin – subject to confirmation of the funding," the minister said in reply to a query from Awami League MP Didarul Alam.

Earlier, the House went into sitting around 11:15am with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
