We’ll see how BNP foils polls

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader yesterday said AL will not force BNP to participate in the upcoming national polls, but it will resist the latter if it tries to foil the election.

"We will see how you [BNP] will prevent the polls from taking place," said Quader while addressing a rally organised by Dhaka district unit AL in front of Keraniganj thana unit AL office in Ghatarchar area. Addressing party members, Quader said, "Get ready; their intention is not good."

In response to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's statement that AL is trying to split their alliance, Quader said, "We will split neither your party nor the alliance, rather your alliance will fall like a house of cards."
