Want to form my own party: Hero Alom

Ashraful Hossain Alom, better known as Hero Alom, has recently said he wants to form his own political party.

The celebrity, who recently contested the Bogura-4 and Bogura-6 constituency by-polls as an independent candidate, revealed his intention on a talk show "Khaled Muhiuddin Jante Chay," hosted by Khaled Muhiuddin, the chief of DW Bangla.

When asked if he wanted to join any political party, Alom said he would rather form his own political party.

Asked about the goals and purpose of his political party, the YouTube star said, "I want to bring change. The political parties have to change their attitude. I want to work with newcomers who will work for society. I don't want anyone from any big party."

"People have been watching Awami League and BNP for a long time. Even if a banana tree stands against these parties, people will vote for the tree. That's what the people are saying," Alom added.
