BNP's Khulna divisional road march begins in Jhenaidah

BNP's road march in Khulna division, part of their 15-day programme to press home their demand for polls under a non-partisan caretaker government, started from Jhenaidah this morning.
The road march began around 10:00am from the Jhenaidah Bus Terminal area and will end in Khulna's Shibbari area after marching through different streets in Jhenaidah, Magura, Jashore, and Khulna.
A brief rally will be held at the end of the march, our staff correspondent reports.
BNP standing committee members Mirza Abbas and Gayeshwar Chandra Roy are scheduled to address the rally.
Hundreds of party leaders and activists joined the rally.
Earlier, leaders and activists of the party and its associate bodies from adjoining districts gathered at the starting point to join the road march with posters, banners, festoons, party flags, and national flags.
