AL men take position in wards across Dhaka

Leaders and activists of Awami League and its associate bodies have taken position in several wards in Dhaka. According to them, they have taken a cautious stand to prevent any untoward situation.
Awami League central leaders took position at Bangabandhu Avenue since morning.

AL Presidium Member Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya said, "BNP wanted to establish a reign of terror in the entire city in the name of movement. But they failed to do so."

"They wanted to gather 10 lakh people in Nayapaltan, but could not," he said.
He also said, "BNP sought and got permission from the government to hold the rally. We will cooperate if there is a peaceful gathering."

In addition to taking position in different areas of the capital including Dhaka University, Shahbagh, and Nilkhet, the party leaders and activists brought out motorcycle processions.
