AL leaders, activists start gathering in front of Baitul Mukarram ahead of ‘peace rally’

Awami League leaders and activists have started to gather in front of the south gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka to attend the party's "peace rally".

The rally was organised marking the 60th birth anniversary of Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

City AL leaders and leaders of different professional organisations have started to give their speech, but the central leaders are yet to join the rally.

AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader will join the rally as chief guest.
