21 BCL men expelled on disciplinary grounds

Bangladesh Chhatra League has expelled 21 of its leaders and activists for breaching organisational discipline and engaging in anti-organisational activities.
The BCL revealed the matter through a press release signed by BCL President Saddam Hussain and its General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Enan.
The expelled BCL men are Najmul Hasan, Tanzir Arafath Tushar, Asadullah Asad, Mahidur Rahman Badhon, Riaz Ahmed Polok, Zihadul Islam Al Kawsar, Shaon Chowdhury, Fahim Tajwar Joy, Sazid Ahmed, Rahul Ray, Md Tareq, Fazle Navid Sakil, Rahat Rahman and Sadik Ahamad. They are current and former students of Dhaka university.
Other expelled BCL men include Asit Paul of Jahangirnagar University BCL, Maruf Islam of Chittagong University, Sha Alam Ratul, Nur Mohammad Nabil and Kamran Siddik Rashed of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology and Rakibul Islam Rakib of Government Shahid Suhrawardy College.
There were several allegations of mugging and extorting people, and fighting over dormitory seats. There were multiple cases and complaints lodged against them.
