‘A tested, trusted relationship’
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq yesterday urged all to remain alert so that separatists cannot use Bangladesh for materialising their evil purposes.
The minister came up with the remark while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion titled "Indian Recognition Matters", marking Bangladesh-India Friendship Day.
A civic platform, Bangladesh Swadhinata Foundation, organised the programme at the capital's Kabi Sufia Kamal Auditorium in the National Museum.
Huq said, "India is our trusted and tested neighbour. India also respects and supports the principles on which Bangladesh is founded. I hope the friendly relations between the two countries will get stronger..."
