Rebeka Walie’s 15th death anniversary

Tomorrow is the 15th death anniversary of Rebeka Walie, wife of late ATM Walie Ashraf, who was a freedom fighter, lawmaker of Brahmanbaria-6 and founder editor of Janomot Newsweekly, London.  

Rebeka played an important social role in London, fighting for the cause of the Liberation War, says a press release.

Prayers and a milad-mahfil will be held at her grave in Bancharampur, Brahmanbaria and her Mayakanan residence. Families, friends and well-wishers are asked to pray for her departed soul.
