Nasiruddin Ahmed passes away
Nasiruddin Ahmed, a former director of Eastland Insurance Company Limited, died yesterday at Evercare Hospital Dhaka, aged 90, said a press release.
He left behind his wife, four daughters, grandchildren and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He retired as the general manager of Mitsui & Company in the late '70s. He was also associated with several social organisations. Ahmed is the eldest brother of Mahbubur Rahman, president, International Chamber of Commerce- Bangladesh.
Nasiruddin's namaz-e-janaza will be held today at Ramna Thana Jame Masjid after the Zohr prayers. Later, he will be buried in Banani graveyard.
