Mortar shell recovered

An unexploded mortar shell was recovered in C & B area of Panchagarh Sadar upazila yesterday.

Workers found the unexploded mortar shell while extracting sand from the Karotoya river.   

OC of Sadar PS Station Abdul Latif said the iron-like object, measuring 12 inches long, came out while some workers were extracting sand from the river.
