Jhuntu Pada passes away
Jhuntu Pada Mohajan, a former official of Bangladesh Railway, passed away on Monday.
He was 75.
He breathed his last at Chattogram Medical College Hospital. Jhuntu had been suffering from various ailments including breathing and kidney complications.
He was born in November 1947 in Raozan, Chattogram.
His funeral was held at his village home in Binajuri on Monday night.
Jhantu, father of Sujoy Mahajan, business editor of the daily Prothom Alo; and Subir Mahajan, a teacher of drama in Chittagong University, is survived by his wife, four sons and relatives, friends and admirers.
