IUB launches ARROWS programme
Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) has officially launched the undergraduate-level IUB ARROWS programme.
Under the programme, IUB will pick 50 students annually and offer them fully-sponsored opportunities, said a press release.
The students will be picked holistically -- irrespective of gender, socioeconomic background and geography.
The programme was launched at the event "Inclusive Development and IUB" at the university in the capital's Bashundhara R/A yesterday.
Dr Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, chairman of PKSF, attended the event as chief guest. Prof Mustafizur Rahman, distinguished fellow of CPD; Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, editor of The Daily Observer; Anisul Hoque, associate editor of Prothom Alo; and Abdul Hai Sarker, chair of IUB trustee board, spoke at the event.
