‘Information technology the way forward’

Information technology is the only way forward to meet the challenges of globalisation, said speakers at a workshop in Khulna yesterday.

The workshop titled "U Reporting Orientation and Field Testing of Bangla Offline Mobile Application" was held at CSS AVA center Khulna.

Khulna District Information Office organised the programme in collaboration with Unicef.

Md Feroz Shah, additional divisional commissioner (general) of Khulna, was present as the chief guest.

Gazi Zakir Hossain, director of Khulna district information office; Md Qausar Hossain, chief field officer of Unicef, Khulna; and Md Mehedi Hasan, senior information officer of Khulna Regional Information Office, were present among others.

A total of 115 students participated in the event.
