Guinness posthumously recognises Rani as world’s shortest cow
A month after her passing, the 20-inch tall cow named Rani -- owned by Shikor Agro Industries Ltd in Bangladesh -- has been recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records as "world's shortest cow".
Kazi Md Abu Sufian, managing director and CEO of Shikor Agro Industries Ltd, confirmed to The Daily Star this afternoon that the Guinness authorities mailed them regarding Rani's recognition as the world's shortest cow. A certificate has also been uploaded on their website.
"Although Rani is no longer with us, we are pleased that she, as well as Bangladesh, has received such recognition from the Guinness Book of World Records," he added.
