Cop found dead in Dhaka
A police constable was found dead at the staff quarters of Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the city's Elephant Road area on Thursday.
Police recovered the body of Mazharul Islam, 23, who was posted at the headquarters of Anti-Terrorism Unit in Baridhara.

Md Maksudur Rahman, sub-inspector of Newmarket Police Station, said they recovered the body from a rented room on the ground floor of the quarter yesterday noon.
The body was sent to the emergency department of DMCH around 6:00pm. Later, it was sent to the hospital morgue for post-mortem, he added.
The reason behind the death will be known after getting the autopsy report, he added.
