Want death sentence for man behind DSCC vehicle’s wheel: Taposh

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh today assured the demonstrating students of taking legal steps against the driver of a DSCC vehicle which hit and killed Nayeem Hasan, a student of Notre Dame College, yesterday.
Taposh also demanded capital punishment of the driver.
He came up with the assurance after demonstrating students wanted justice for Nayeem in front of Nagar Bhaban today.
Taposh added that they have already suspended the driver who was on duty and will remove him from job.
"The driver who was on duty was not driving the vehicle. He got someone else to drive it. So both will be punished," Taposh said.
He will take stern action so that no outsiders cannot drive DSCC vehicles, the mayor said.

Also, he assured to speak on behalf of the protesters on the issue.
Yesterday, Nayeem Hasan, a student of Notre Dame College, died after a vehicle of DSCC hit him while he was crossing the road in Gulistan.
